Where your legacy transforms dementia support
The Alzheimer Society of B.C. came to us to build a distinct identity for its philanthropic arm: a Foundation that needed to stand on its own while staying clearly connected to the Society it supports.
A name that educates
Through the naming process, the organization became the Alzheimer's & Dementia Foundation of BC & Yukon. The name needed to align with the Society it supports, and adding "Dementia" was a deliberate act of education.
The logo reinterprets the forget-me-not, the flower already synonymous with the Society, as a modern, dynamic form built from individual parts. Its shape echoes the letter "D" for dementia, anchoring the educational message in the mark itself.
A website built for donors
We led the brand narrative and copywriting that shaped a new website designed for clarity and ease. Rather than functioning as a sub-page of a larger national presence, the site gives the Foundation full control of its own story and its own relationship with its donors.
The architecture is simple and the language is accessible, so visitors can quickly learn, find what they came for, and feel a genuine connection to the work.
Design makes strategy visible
The contemporary design places the Society in a more current, relevant position and signals that a legacy gift is in capable, professional hands. And because the mark is a sum of parts, every element shows a different way a gift can help, across programs, services and research. The design itself reflects how donor support adds up to something larger.
