From 2008–2016 we produced, curated and hosted PechaKucha Night Vancouver – a landmark cultural event series for our city.
In 8 years and across 38 volumes, we brought 500 local speakers to the stage, featured 30 musical acts, and engaged and inspired over 35,000 audience members. Along the way, we cultivated a devoted following and a network of creative and influential Vancouverites, enriching our understanding and appreciation of the city's culture.
We assisted numerous influential partners in showcasing their initiatives, including the City of Vancouver's Greenest City Strategy, the Vancouver Art Gallery's local exhibition, and the Vancouver Foundation's Connect & Engage Community Research.
Jane and Steven Cox of Cause+Affect, most definitely made this city a better place; they not only brought together the community but inspired it in a big way. Many of the talks lit a fire under our collective asses, introduced us to great ideas and great people, and invited conversation and collaboration.
