Regional Parks used its 50th anniversary as an opportunity to re-vamp it's brand systems

Metro Vancouver Regional Parks has been protecting our natural areas and connecting people with them since 1967. Its 50th anniversary in 2017 provided an opportunity to honour the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future. Our brand work embraces their legacy with an aesthetic reminiscent of historical park posters while remaining contemporary and on-brand for Metro Vancouver Regional Parks. A unique logotype was created for each park, reserve, greenway, and ecological conservancy area, as well as a ‘Celebration Badge’ acting as a symbol and identifier for the campaign.
