A brand identity that highlights the economic and community advantages of independent businesses.

Armed with a brand by Cause+Affect, LOCO has swiftly catalyzed the buy local and sustainability movement in Vancouver, attracting over 140 of the businesses that define our city – many of them clients of ours.

The ‘Own Your Own’ B2B+B2C campaign was instrumental in this membership drive and encouraged consumers to support a local, vibrant and sustainable economy.

The love of local

Sometimes it's the simplest ideas that communicate the most meaning.

Three "LOCO Member" logo badges in teal, pink, and black color variations.
LOCO branded stationery including letterhead, business cards, and an envelope displayed on a gray background.
A pink and yellow LOCO brochure featuring house icons on the cover, reading "Own Your Own."
Pink LOCO branded coasters reading "Own Your Own.ca" arranged on a wooden table with a glass.
A hand writes on a pink LOCO worksheet titled "How Are We Locally..." featuring a flower-shaped diagram.

A growing community

LOCO continues to build and evolve their brand today with membership events aimed at strengthening community and support among local, values-aligned businesses.
