Initially planned as a boutique hotel on the periphery of Vancouver’s Chinatown, The Keefer offered only four suites of over 2,400 square feet to its discerning guests.

Catering to this unique development vision, the brand was exclusive and elusive, with a slim, secretive logo, warm blacks and photography that captured a mood without giving too much away. It was private and discreet. But as with all good things, those in the know knew The Keefer.

Hidden in plain sight

Alluring to guests who desire solitude, the brand identity positioned the hotel as a hideaway that only a handful of people knew about. The Keefer was for those who seek privacy and discretion as well as luxury.

A fine balance

The Keefer brand was about finding a balance between strength and beauty, the visible and the hidden, the raw and refined. The Keefer is a unique architectural gem in Vancouver and required an overall brand experience to match.
